Flesh fruit is a dramatic short film with a uniquely dark twist. The story centres around Gavin, a struggling farmer who must come to terms with the devastating impacts of a destructive flood on his property. Compounding his plight; his opportunistic mother, Daphne, and a vulnerable stranger whose disturbing condition places them in a perilous situation.
Inspired by the rugged landscape of rural Queensland, Flesh Fruit offers a powerful exploration of the human condition, examining themes of desperation, survival and the intricate dynamics of human relationships in times of adversity.
